Design - the process of determining the architectural components, interfaces and other characteristics of the system or its parts (ISO 24765) As a result of designing a draft - integrated set of models, features or characteristics described in a form suitable for the implementation of the system .:. 272 Design, along with an analysis of the requirements is part of the big stage of the life cycle of the system, called the system definition (eng. system definition). The results of this stage are input to the implementation phase (incarnation) of the system (the English system realization.) : 268 System design is aimed to present the system corresponding to the intended purpose, principles and designs;. It includes assessment and decision-making on the choice of system components that meet its architecture and fit into the prescribed limits : 272 At the moment there is a strong tendency to consider the architectural and detailed design of a variety of activities;. attempts to identify them as separate practice, however, these types of design to a large extent "twisted." Architectural solutions in comparison with "conventional" design decisions are seen as more abstract, conceptual and global; they focus on the success of the mission and on the most high-level structure of the system . 272 Detail design, in turn, is defined as the process of detailing and expanding the preliminary draft (architecture) to the point at which the project is ready for implementation.
